Relationships And Poor Communication

By CD Mohatta To communicate means to tell about our feelings, and our thoughts. When we communicate, our words may not say precisely what is in our mind, but when somebody takes our body language and words together, he/she can probably find out what we really want to communicate. Understanding communication and making communication is both an art and a science. But it is not very difficult to learn. Relationships thrive on good communication. When both the partners know exactly what is in the other’s mind, a relationship proceeds smoothly. For example, if a partner is lethargic and keeping quiet, that also communicates something. That has to be understood by the other partner. Once both the partners understand the hidden signs and the precise meaning of what is being said, they can develop a very healthy relationship. People feel good if some body understands them. They get irritated if somebody does not understand them. Irrespective of their own bad communication, they want people to understand them. Here lies the clue to communication and relationships. Many relationships develop despite of poor communication in the beginning. The excitement of the partnership and the euphoric love make bad communication not very necessary to make the relationship cross the threshold. But after some time, as love thins down and cracks begin developing, the need for good communication increases substantially. If you are facing a problem of bad communication with your partner, the best thing is to ask. Dont assume the meaning, but say, darling; I am not getting what you want to communicate. I am sorry, but please explain. Be sincere in your request. You must show that you really want to understand. Slowly the communication will begin improving. Good communication is important to sort out many issues that a couple faces in a relationship. CD Mohatta writes for ecards and online greetings, screensavers and desktop wallpapers. Stop Trusting the Scale–It’s Probably Wrong Anyway

By Kathryn Martyn, M.NLP Have you ever stepped on the scale after a week of “being really good” only to be rewarded with an eye popping four pound gain? Don’t despair! Your scale isn’t trying to ruin your efforts and it doesn’t hate you. True health is measured in many ways, only one of which is your outward appearance, and what you weigh is the least reliable measure of all. When you change your habits, especially your eating habits, it takes time for your body to catch up. Everything you eat and drink doesn’t magically disappear into thin air as soon as you swallow, so if you just ate two pounds of food and step on the scale, surprise, you’ve just gained two pounds. Now you and I both know that’s not true weight. You didn’t suddenly get fatter, just fuller. Tip No. 1: Don’t weigh yourself right after you eat. Have you ever felt great, and figured, “I’m feeling really good, my pants are loose, I think I’ll just check my weight,” only to see you’ve gained five pounds. How can that be? What happens next is critical. If you wail and whine and decide this whole “getting healthy” thing is just not worth it, then you may not reach your weight loss goals. If instead you think, “Isn’t that the strangest thing,” and then get on with your day, you’ll be fine. Tip No. 2: The scale is stupid. It doesn’t know whether you’re getting healthier, it only weighs what you place on it, and it doesn’t do that very well. Ever step on the scale at someone else’s house? Usually it’s higher or lower than yours, isn’t it? Wonder if they know their scale is off by six pounds? Watch for better clues whether your weight loss efforts are paying off. Are your clothes, shoes and rings getting looser? Sure, you probably aren’t too worried about fat fingers, but hey, it’s a start. Are you getting stronger, can you walk farther, run faster? Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither were those thighs! Give yourself time to gain health and lose weight. Tip No. 3: Loose shoes are a sign what you’re doing is working. Your weight will bounce up and down like a kid in a Jolly Jumper. Those fluctuations on the scale mean nothing, if you’re doing what you know is best, eating better, exercising more. Once you’ve stepped on the scale, the deed is done, there’s no going back. The number is staring right back at you, and like it or not, there it is. Weigh yourself if you must, but then step right back off, shrug your shoulders or congratulate yourself, depending on whether you liked the number, and then go do something that supports your goals. Let the “number” be whatever it is. Don’t give any power to that number on the scale. Good or bad, it’s just something to track or write in your journal. Work instead on doing whatever will support your goals whether they be losing weight, gaining strength, or increasing the minutes you spend with the children. Eventually you’ll get to recognize those scale fluctuations and know it’s because you ate salty foods yesterday, or because you over ate all weekend, then you’ll get back on track and guess what? Those extra pounds disappear as quickly as they appeared. Tip No. 4: Learning to ignore the scale can be the single greatest thing you ever do for yourself and your sanity. ~~ Kathryn Martyn, Master NLP Practitioner, EFT counselor, Weight Loss Coach and owner of OneMoreBite-WeightLoss.com is the author of “Changing Beliefs, Your First Step to Permanent Weight Loss,” and “5 Steps to Blast Through Weight Loss Plateaus.” Both books and Weight Loss Tracking Graph available in “Tools” section. Unsecured Loans: A Preferred Option

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=D._Dhar]D. Dhar Loans can be broadly classified as Secured Loans and Unsecured Loans. A Secured Loan is a type of loan which is attached with collateral. In a Secured Loan, the borrower is required to offer collateral to the lender. In contrast an Unsecured Loan doesnt require any collateral against the loan taken. Because of this feature, an Unsecured Loan acts as the best solution for tenants who are not in a position to offer collateral to secure a loan. Unsecured Loans are not only restricted to tenants only. Unsecured Loans can be availed by homeowners also who do not want to offer any collateral against the loan taken. According to recent statistics, a major increase has been seen in the number of borrowers applying for Unsecured Loans. With an Unsecured Loan, the borrowers are not required to place their home, their property or any other substantial possessions as security for the loan amount. Unlike Secured Loans, an Unsecured Loan borrower does not offer any guarantee of repayment to the lender. So, an Unsecured Loan lender faces more risk as compared to secured ones. Thats the reason an Unsecured Loan lender charges comparatively higher rate of interest to compensate the risk. An Unsecured Loan enables you to borrow as low as 500 and as high as 25,000. The repayment period might range from anywhere between six months and ten years. However, it should be kept in mind that the rates and terms for Unsecured Loans vary a great deal from lender to lender. One of the major benefits associated with Unsecured Loans is its speedy approval process. So, [http://www.online-unsecured-loans.co.uk/unsecured-loan.html]Unsecured Loans acts as the best rescue when you need cash fast. Unsecured Loans can be used for a wide variety of reasons, such as, home improvements, holidays, debt consolidation etc. There are many sources available to help you access some of the best Unsecured Loans. Turn Your Hobby Into Extra Income Before You Think “Career”

By Edward Leger Many people get a big idea that they love to do something alot, so they are going to try to make a go of it as a career move. Then, they sink their life savings into it, exhaust all their savings, and then the buisness goes under leaving them with nothing. So why not just (if this is at all possible), go at it a little at a time? For example, I love woodworking. So my goal was to just start with a simple website on porch swings. But it didn’t end their. I got everything together, put up another site using Search Engine Optimization techniques, and then went to building outdoor patio furniture. Next, it was Ebay, then Amazon. So what can you do? Well, first of all, I would truly keep my dayjob until the buisness is in full swing AND gaining momentum. Get to the point where you cannot at all, absolutely without a doubt, handle both. But before you can get to that point, you have to do alot of research. I mean tons. My site didn’t start off well. The need was there to make changes in order to cause the public to trust my product. So I had to experiment. Change the site up a little at a time until I get more orders. Now, what I liked about ebay was you can actually go in and see what Items are selling or not. But you have to be an ebay member before you can do this. Amazon does not give you this advantage, but you can still see what items they have and show some competition. Most of all, what I think is best is find out what keywords are used on the internet the most. The keyword tool I think is best is located at keywordburner.com. It is 49 bucks a month, but just use it for one month, and get rid of it once you find out what keyword best fits your hobby and is searched for alot. Believe me, if it is searched for alot on the internet, it is undoubtedly searched for alot period. Anyway that is what I have done, and I hope it works for you. Hope you at least can use it for some extra income, if not what you do for a living. I have a wonderful wife Shannon, a 4 year old boy Trent and as my article shows, I love woodworking! So Am I: Projecting Our Qualities

By Maria Moratto There is this woman at my sons school with whom I have a very bad human connection indeed. I think she is unapproachable, indifferent, and unfriendly. In fact, though I like a few people, there are more people in that school whom I absolutely dislike. In my book they are all indifferent, unapproachable, and unfriendly. On the other hand I have a great human connection with my piano teacher, now a friend, who is just delightful, warm, interesting, generous, and very intelligent. Ditto for my son who is also very intelligent, sensitive, caring, loving, and absolutely hilarious. How is that that I have great and not so great relationships with different people? What is there that makes me like and be liked as well as hated (or disliked) and hateful (or despising)? Why do I recognize negative qualities in some people and positive qualities in other people? The answer is very simple: I am just mirroring myself in these people. As we hate to realize it, the truth is that we all have positive and negative qualities (according to our values, of course) that we project onto others, thus, some people push our buttons whereas others just delight us. It is, thus, crucially important to know who are we exactly, so we can transform all our relationships into positive and gratifying ones. To know our qualities we need only make two lists. For each list, get a piece of paper and make a line in the middle. In the first sheet, do the following: 1. Write on top: Qualities I appreciate in others. 2. On the left hand side of the paper, write the names of people you most admire. They can be real people or imaginary characters, dead or alive, that you have or have not known personally; it matters not. 3. On the right hand side of the paper, for each person, write all the qualities you most admire in them. 4. Keep doing this until you have written qualities for all of the people in that list. 5. Do not repeat qualities. Write them only once. In the second piece of paper do the same, only this time, you will write: Qualities I despise in others, meaning all the negative qualities certain people have that you truly despise, even hate. Now, pay attention that you should not write about behavior but qualities only. For example: Hitler = mass murderer. Mass murderer is a behavior, not a quality. You could write instead: Hitler = unsympathetic (to put it mildly). See the difference? When you are done with both lists write the following at the bottom of each page: I see these qualities in others because I too, have them. Ouch! How can I compare myself with that despicable man? Now is the time to reflect about each of our negative qualities, the ones we are sure NOT to have but which, indeed we do, in a subtle or not so subtle way. In our example: unsympathetic. Ok; the guy condoned the murderer of millions of people. In what way are we being and doing the same? You dont need to go far. If you are not a vegetarian, you already have an answer. (This is a lame comparison, I know. I just want to give an example.) See? It is not difficult at all to see where our projections go. Try it and I guarantee your relationships are about to change radically for the better. By the way: For some reason, I cant care less about the people in that school. I, too, am indifferent, unapproachable, and unfriendly. It is up to me to change the situation. Once I change, everything will fall into place beautifully. How Regularly Should Chainsaw Servicing Be Performed?

By Dean Caporella Chainsaws are powerful machines which seem indestructible. Yet without regular servicing and maintenance checks they become vulnerable to breakdown and can virtually turn into time bombs ready to mame and injure. Many chainsaw reviews will point out the importance of servicing but without it, then saws can become killers. This may sound a little harsh but if you doubt it then check the statistics on the number of injuries attributed to chainsaw use each year. Standard Chainsaw Servicing Practice For long life and maximum use from your chainsaw then there are some simple routine steps you can take to promote safe use. The most obvious step you need to take is to become familiar with the machines user guide. Manufacturers make them available for one reason only… so you understand what it is you are dealing with and to help you understand your chainsaw. Guides have all the information you require including maintenance and servicing tips and if you can’t perform the action yourself then a qualified technician can. In fact, getting your saw looked at by a professional at least once a year is highly recommended. Never take anything for granted with a chainsaw. Never attempt to use a machine which is in need of repair as it’s asking for trouble. Let an expert repair it and get it back to a safe working order. Also, it’s foolish to use parts not intended for your brand of machine. If you use a Stihl then use Stihl parts. Same applies with Husqvarna, Poulan, McCulloch or any other brand of chainsaw. Chainsaw Parts - The Engine The chainsaw is an intricate machine made up of performance parts and safety features and the end result is both making short work of cutting wood and keeping you from getting hurt. The engine, the chain, chain tension and guide bar are all areas which need to be maintained in tip top order. Fuel is an integral component and again, your manufacturer’s guide will recommend a particular fuel to use with their chainsaw. The engine needs regular checks before a major service. Check for bar nuts which may have loosened on the handle. The air filter should be clean as well as the muffler while the starter chord is often overlooked by users but a chord which doesn’t retract properly could indicate more serious problems. Chain And Chain Brakes Chain tension is of utmost importance for both reliable performance and safety. Checking the tension of the chain is imperitive especially when performing a job over several hours. In fact, in an hour, tension should be checked a minimum of 4-5 times. Problems such as separating from the guide bar are the result of a loose chain while if the tension is too tight, then wear and tear on the guide bar will be escalated. Always check the chain brakes periodically. By testing the brakes, an indication can be given if the saw needs to head into a professional for a check up. If on braking the chain continues to run then it’s ready to be serviced. Dean Caporella is a professional broadcaster. Without proper maintenance and chainsaw servicing your machine is a time bomb waiting to go off! The Answer To The Prosperity Gospel: The Snare Of Riches As Mentioned In 1 Timothy 6:6-10

By Matthew Robert Payne This was a personal prophecy that the LORD has me duplicate and print as a teaching. It’s only short, but it’s a short punchy message by the Holy Spirit and Jesus with an encouraging prayer at the end. It was written and sent on the 5th of April 2006. The person requesting the personal prophecy wrote: I was wondering if you would please provide personal prophecy regarding my life right now, as you are led by the Lord, and which direction I should take. Thank you so much. The Holy Spirit directed me to 8 scriptures in the Bible over a coffee and when I got home to my computer the following message came out. Hi my friend, The Lord through His Holy Spirit has given me a number of passages for you to study, the scriptures are in black, the Lord Jesus’ words in blue and my words in red. Psalm 46:7-11 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, Who has made desolations in the earth. 9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah Psalm 112:5-9 5 A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion. 6 Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. 7 He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. 8 His heart is established; He will not be afraid, Until he sees his desire upon his enemies. 9 He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted with honour. Proverbs 23:4-5 4 Do not overwork to be rich; Because of your own understanding, cease! 5 Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; They fly away like an eagle toward heaven. 1 Timothy 6:6-10 6 Now godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. 9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 4:1-2 1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, Therefore depart from those that preach you can be wealthy and rich and full of the worlds goods in this age while the poor starve for even one Bible in China. If you want to be rich try being a person that gives 30% of your income to Me. James 4:4 4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Hebrews 5:9 9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, Hebrews 4:6 6 Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, You are at a junction in your life, you need to choose the narrow way. There is a way that seems right to a man and in the end it leads to death. The natural man does not choose which way is right. You need to walk in the Spirit, it is not often that the natural heart of a man will be inclined to do good and if so most of the times it has a selfish motive behind it. You need to cut loose from the world and its lusts and desires and sanctify your heart with My Word and walk in hand with Me. I have no need of your money or a fancy job and have no need to hear any man preach a message of wealth and abundance. All of the best riches of the world cannot even buy you one week in heaven not spare you one week from hell. You need to deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Me. I walk a difficult path, a rocky path and a narrow way, on it is much joy and fulfilment but you will be a fish swimming the wrong way in the river. Are you up for it? Let me pray for you: Father I ask that you fill the readers with the knowledge of the height and depth and width of love you have for them. Father anoint this reader with your joy and your peace and fill them to the brim to know that they are your beloved Children and they need not do anything to win your approval. Show them that you simply want their time and their devotion and their energies and all that they have. Show them that you don’t need man’s money and that money and the pursuit of it is really a snare to many and has them led off by false teachers. Teach them the place to invest their money, lead them by Your Holy Spirit as you led them to this article and teach them to obey your gentle voice. Teach them to obey Your leading and listen less to the false teachers who lead many astray as they disobey Your commands and Your teachings through the Bible and through Your Son’s mouth. Lead them to the eternal water the Living water and let that Living Water feed them each day and let them see that a relationship with the Living Pearl of Great Price is worth more than any riches and any of the world’s goods. Walk with them Father, like you walked with Adam in the cool of the day, send your Son to walk with them and hold their hand and converse in those special times as you do with me, and show them that a living breathing unity with you and oneness with your Son is more precious than any stone. I ask all this in the Messiah’s name, Jesus the Christ. Amen PS Love you dad! Matthew shares his heart in these articles and can be found at http://www.online-prayer.net You can read more of his articles at his link below. If you want a copy of his upcoming book of articles which will have the first sixty of the articles on this web-site called “The Musings of a Mad Prophet” please contact Matthew via email so he can contact you around February 2007 to tell you of the progress of the book. Dose Essences-For Getting The Benefits To The Fullest

By Mia Bilkins Essences are an integral ingredient in aromatherapy. Usually, essences, used in aromatherapy, are collected from various plants, like lavender, lemon, jojoba and so on. With the vibrational healing power, these essences are considered as an effective element in aromatherapy. But, to get the best result, dose of essence matters a lot. So, we need to know clearly about dose essences. Massaging is an important part in aromatherapy. Usually, in massage, essential oils, blended with various carrier oils like, avocado, olive, wheatgerm, are used. In this process, to get perfect essences, the dose should be like carrier oil-95-97.5% and essential oils 2.5-5%. Do you want essence during bath? Take one tub warm water and some essential oils. To get essence, the dose of essential oils should be 5-10 drops in per bath. Many a time, skin or muscles of hands or feet are disordered. In such cases, hand or foot bath is suggested in aromatherapy. For an essence-full bath, you should add 5-7 drops essential oils in a basin of warm water for 10-15 minutes. In treatment of sinus, nasal allergies, hi-fever, inhalation is recommended. In case of inhalation, dose of essence should be perfect if two to five drops of essential oil is added to steaming water and inhaled the odorous vapor for five to ten minutes. Various essentials oils, namely peppermint, cinnamon, can be used internally, like for making teas, mouthwashes etc. In such cases, for adding essence, depending on the oil, the dose should be decided. But, it is always advisable to consult with some doctor before going for such kinds of usages. In aromatherapy, the importance of essence is truly noticeable. A holistic and good health and well being of our emotion are the main gifts of essences, used in aromatherapy. Some essences make us refreshed, relaxed and energized. For healing various diseases, like insomnia, anxiety, depression, stress related problems, the healing touch of essence is inescapable indeed. The effect of essence totally depends on the quality of oil. So, always try to buy oil from some renowned and reputed shops. Online can be a good option in this regard, as various sellers now sell their aroma products over the internet. This process is easy and within a minimum time you can find the best product at an affordable rate. Doses of essences play an important role in providing the best effect. The doses of essence vary in accordance with purposes and oil. But remember, overdoses of essences can act negatively. So, before using make sure the right dose. Want To Build A Koi Pond?-12 Tips You Need To Know

By Dirk Bristol You have always dreamed of having an”oasis” in your back yard. A beautiful koi pond can be that “oasis”, and the envy of the neighborhood. Building a koi pond seems like a large undertaking, which can be intimidating. Here are 12 Tips you should know before starting your project. 1. Koi Pond Location Choose a location that gets both sunlight and shade. Sunlight encourages plant growth, but encourages algae growth. Shade also gives your koi a cool, dark area to hide.
